3 Magical Ways To Illuminate Your Skin & Soul Using Essential Oils - Prepare To Be AMAZED
We can always use some “magical secrets” to nourish and nurture our skin and souls throughout the winter.
Essential Oils are a powerful way to do this.
Using essential oils at home doesn’t have to be complicated to be successful in bringing that inner Illumination to our outer shell (our skin) as well.
There are some super simple ways to use essential oils, with ingredients from the cupboard, that takes just minimal effort, but can produce positively illuminating results to our minds and radiance to our bodies.
Most people know how to use oils 1 way; through their sense of smell.
But, trying them in lesser known ways will also have an effect physiologically and go deeper into the body, mind, spirit connection to promote that inner radiance to our skin we are all looking for.
How can this be?
Being the second strongest way to use herbs (wow, right?!), Essential Oils are therapeutic on all levels. Their volatile oils can often conjure up words, phrases, colors, shapes, and sounds through their aromas and when used on the body, making them powerful allies that promote healing for also our mind and spirit ♥️
Which in turn - gives us that inner glow! When we are clear, our bodies and souls radiate outwards.
We’ve also been erroneously led to believe that the stronger the scent, the more powerful the effect. Not true at all. An essential oil like Elemi, isn’t as strong aromatically as peppermint, yet its volatile plant compounds are just as powerful to us physiologically.
So, what are lesser known ways using essential oils that have a powerful therapeutic effect on our bodies and souls to promote that glow and flow?
Foot Oiling, Body Scrubs, and a Soak in the Tub.
All three of these ways use our biggest organ, the skin, to produce a deeper, fuller overall affect.
They also use items we already have in our kitchens along with the essential oils we have to make them.
Yay! for simple tangible results.
Foot Oiling - this is exactly what it sounds like. We use a combination of a carrier oil with essential oils and use that mixture to rub on our feet at night or when we get home from work and need to let go of the day.
According to the ancient art of Reflexology, all of our organs have points located on the soles of our feet. Adding an oil blend to our feet, brings it into all of our body and soothes the nervous system too.
recipe: 1 oz. olive oil or avocado oil
3-5 drops synergistic blend or single essential oil
Mix well and rub onto the feet.Body Scrub. Not only does it exfoliate the skin, but adding oils to either the salt or sugar base brings the healing qualities of those plants to us. Please do not use this recipe on the face or yoni, as they are more delicate than the rest of the body.
recipe: 1c sugar
1/4 c. oil olive oil or avocado oil with
6-10 drops essential oil
Mix base oil with sugar and essential oils. Mix well.

Add about 6-8 drops of essential oil aroma blend to the water. The steam from the water will bring the aroma to your nose, and the oils will penetrate into your body as you soak.
Pro tip: Mix the 6-8 drops of EO together with olive or avocado and rub into your body BEFORE stepping into the tub.
This eliminates the oils from pooling and only hitting the areas they touch!
